Quadtrac

Every Quadtrac AFS Connect™ tractor carries within it 20 years of leading track technology experience. Four individually-driven oscillating tracks with positive drive evenly distribute the weight of the machine over four guide rolls and six mid rolls. Even distribution over the entire surface of each track guarantees lowest impact on the soil while maintaining highest traction. Available on Quadtrac 470, 500, 540, 580 and 620.
Steiger

Generating a lot of power is one thing. But transferring it to the ground with minimal losses is quite another, especially when you are trying to pull implements across any terrain. This is the real strength of the Steiger AFS Connect series: it generates superior traction through automatic differential lock, which minimises slippage in difficult field conditions.

The industry exclusive cab suspension on the Quadtrac provides smooth, comfortable ride in the field and on the road. The 4-pillar spring, shock & stabilizer system - integrated into the frame – also reduces operator fatigue for higher levels of operator productivity.
40° right hand seat swivel

Goodbye, stiff neck! Spacious legroom allows the seat to swivel a full 40° to the right without cramped leg positions, giving you an easy view of the rear of the tractor. Optional heated and ventilated red leather will keep you comfortable in any season.
Full all-around visibility

With 6.3 m2 of glass in the cab, the Quadtrac/Steiger AFS Connect™ tractors give you an exclusive 360-degree full field of vision, including an unobstructed view of the hitch. The new 4-pillar design makes long working days easier.

Keep an eye on everything

The AFS Pro 1200 monitor has up to four camera inputs at the front and the rear of the tractor. They deliver maximum visibility with multiple feeds, giving you the best overview of your surroundings and greatly reducing the risk of accidents.
Perfect rear visibility

The divided remote valve block and the fuel tank design permits best visibility to the drawbar pin, this allows an easy implement connection without additional help.
Stay alert day and night

When time is of the essence, days often extend into nights. For maximum illumination, the Quadtrac/Steiger AFS Connect series is equipped with new LED lights, enhancing front and side visibility and extending your working day when necessary.

The heart of Quadtrac AFS Connect™ tractors is the innovative Cursor 13 engine, delivering 469 to 692 hp at maximum power. The inline 6 cylinder 12.9 liter engine features four valves per cylinder for better gas exchange and utmost reliability.

Case IH FPT engines have been tested for millions of hours on farms around the world. They are field-tested and proven in the conditions you face every day. And the SCR-only solution continues to perform in the field with hundreds of thousands of engines in operation and counting.
Powerful

At 2,100 rpm engine speed, Cursor 13 engines can achieve up to 10% power growth. They also feature a two-stage turbocharger system with separate cooling system, delivering 40% faster response under load.
Smart

The exclusive dual cooling system increases power as well as fuel efficiency. The two-stage turbocharger system includes a small turbocharger that delivers low-RPM responsiveness and a second, larger one for maximum boost at high RPMs.
Environmentally friendly

The patented, highly efficient Selective Catalytic Reduction (Hi-eSCR2) system meets the strict requirements of Euro stage V emissions standards. No engine regeneration is required as it does not require additional emissions components.

CVX stands for efficiency

Proven CVXDrive transmission delivers uninterrupted power to the ground, incorporating four ranges to be more efficient and deliver more power for tough jobs. Available on Quadtrac 470, 500 and 540 CVXDrive.

Stepless speed changes

CVXDrive makes working easier, especially for more inexperienced operators. Seasonal workers require less training, while full-time drivers enjoy maximum comfort with stepless operation. Transport work is carried out at reduced engine speed for optimal efficiency.

Designed for heavy-pulling

4 mechanical ranges with automatic range changes provide superior efficiency. For the first time, 100% of the mechanic power transfer is available below 10 km/h. This is ideal for heavy pulling applications.

Continuous hydraulic flow

The Quadtrac CVXDrive delivers unprecedented efficiency with greater precision and control over inputs, whether planting, seeding, fertilizing or spraying. It’s flexibility that aids year-round use for any number of jobs.

Smoothest ride

The Quadtrac transmission shifts smoothly between gears for increased efficiency. Pulse-width modulation provides the smoothest possible shifts under load in order to maintain momentum and minimise power losses.

Ease of use and efficiency

The 16-speed PowerDrive powershift features 20 percent faster shifting speed, with reliably smooth shifting that reduces operator fatigue, especially while roading or transporting equipment between fields.

Fuel savings

Operator input is translated into automatic shifting, matching engine power and ground speed to save fuel and lower operation costs.

Made to last

The PowerDrive transmission also features larger, helical-cut gears and clutch packs that deliver years of service while transmitting up to 692 peak horsepower to the ground for large-scale farming.

HYDRAULICS & HITCHES

Challenging the limits of every input

Massive and smart hydraulics system

Quadtrac tractors are impressive machines throughout and their hydraulic system is no exception: up to 428 litres per minute flowing into up to eight hydraulic remote valves, and up to 9071 kg of hitch lift capacity. The remote valves can be easily configured thanks to the ergonomic arrangement of the armrest, and you can configure up to 6 remote valves on colour-changing levers for clear identification and enhanced safety.
Handle your biggest implements

The transmission has been designed to achieve PTO speeds of 540 or 1,000rpm at an engine rpm of 1,800rpm. The PTO can be set to switch off or on automatically when a certain high position has been reached. Also, it features the industry exclusive Twin Flow pump which is a second hydraulic pump and allows the PTO and a second pump to run simultaneously on the same unit for implements with high oil flow.

Tri-point oscillation

Tri-point oscillation provides the perfect mix of strength and balance when transferring power to the ground and it’s engineered into every Quadtrac tractor. This provides more rigidity and strength for the most difficult application.
Heavy-duty frame

Quadtrac AFS Connect™ tractors feature a frame built of 13 mm thick steel and a long wheelbase with built-in weight for better traction to fulfil any task’s demands.
Full manoeuvrability & articulation

The articulated pivot steering means no loss of power or torque to any track during turns, no skid turning and associated soil-smearing. All four tractor corners remain firmly planted on the land at all times for maximum power and torque transfer.
